Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

This website is operated by Rumbo Customer Experience Studio (“Rumbo”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Our Services

Rumbo offers managed customer support, customer experience advisory, and one-to-one coaching. Website information is general information. Service scope, hours, languages, deliverables, fees, and any performance commitments are agreed separately in writing.

2. Discovery Calls and Client Engagements

Complimentary discovery calls are exploratory and help us understand your business and determine whether our services are a good fit. An enquiry, discovery call, or proposal alone does not establish a paid client engagement.

Paid engagements are governed by a signed client agreement and agreed scope of work. That agreement sets out the commercial terms, including payment, confidentiality, ownership of deliverables, service responsibilities, and termination. If it conflicts with these website terms on a service matter, the signed agreement governs.

3. Managed Support Cancellation — 30 Days’ Notice

Unless otherwise agreed in a signed client agreement, managed customer support begins with a minimum initial term of three months and continues in monthly service periods afterward.

Clients must give at least 30 calendar days’ written notice of cancellation by email to hello@rumboplus.ca. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the initial three-month term or a later monthly service period, provided notice is received at least 30 calendar days before that date. If notice is received too late, cancellation takes effect at the end of the next monthly service period for which the notice requirement is met.

Notice may be given during the initial term to prevent renewal, but does not shorten that minimum term. Services and agreed fees continue through the effective cancellation date. Cancellation does not waive outstanding amounts properly due under the agreement.

This policy applies to new engagements that incorporate it. It does not amend an existing signed agreement without the parties’ written agreement. Project-based advisory and individual coaching sessions follow the cancellation and rescheduling terms in their own service agreement.

4. Payments and Client Responsibilities

Fees, technology charges (if applicable), taxes, payment dates, and any approved additional costs are disclosed in the proposal or signed agreement before work begins. Clients must provide accurate information, timely feedback, and the access or approvals needed to deliver the agreed services. Payment delays or missing information may affect delivery, subject to the signed agreement.

5. Responsible Website Use

You may browse this website and share links for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, submit harmful or misleading content, or reproduce or commercially exploit its content without permission, except as permitted by law. You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate and that you have authority to provide it.

6. Intellectual Property

Website text, branding, graphics, and other content are owned by Rumbo or used under licence. Website use does not transfer ownership or grant rights beyond ordinary viewing and lawful use. Ownership and permitted use of client deliverables are addressed in the signed client agreement. References to third parties do not imply an endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.

7. Information, Availability, and Results

We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but do not guarantee that it is complete, error-free, or continuously available. General website content is not legal, tax, or other regulated professional advice. We do not promise specific business, financial, or customer outcomes through website content. Any service commitments are set out in the signed client agreement.

8. Privacy and Submitted Information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Please do not send customer records, passwords, or other sensitive information through general website forms or ordinary enquiries. We will agree on an appropriate secure method when such information is needed for an engagement. Confidentiality and data-handling obligations for paid services are addressed in the client agreement.

9. Third-Party Links and Tools

This website may link to third-party websites or tools. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their content, availability, or practices.

10. Website Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rumbo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability relating to paid services is addressed in the signed client agreement.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these website terms and will show the revised effective date on this page. Updates apply to future website use and do not automatically change an existing signed client agreement.

12. Governing Law

These website terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, subject to any mandatory rights under applicable law.
